TIMELINE

CONTEXT

In my research on content discovery, which included surveys and interviews, it was discovered that information about actors and cast members is highly valued by users, as it directly impacts their ability to find content and influences their streaming behaviour.

I also discovered that participants tend to form judgments during the initial 3-20 minutes of watching new content. However, the presence of a familiar name or face can alleviate this hesitation and capture the user's attention more effectively.

I worked on a significant redesign to improve programme page appearance and functionality on iOS devices. The aim was to make it simple for users to discover new shows that are featuring their favourite actors, enhance conversion rates and ensure visual consistency with existing design system.
